To establish such a claim would necessitate a precise delineation of geography, temporal scope, target typologies, the very definition of an assassination attempt, whether to incorporate thwarted actions, account for military operations, and which sources to deem credible. The critical query shifts from 'which human vectors present as an immediate threat actor' to 'which environmental vectors facilitate observation, targeting, impedance, redirection, or remote engagement with the principal'.

From the history of assassination attempts — to the history of displacement.

The new analytical unit must encompass not merely the incident itself, but the vector through which the method infiltrated the civilian sphere: the genesis of the concept, the milieu of its initial deployment, the channel of dissemination, its subsequent simplification, the integration of civilian components, the operative, and ultimately, the attempted execution. A true security inquest commences not in the aftermath of the strike, but in its ominous prelude.
